Friends of Hospice Ottawa understands the challenges of caregiving and we believe that
it is important for you and those you care for to take a day off to rest and re-charge.

We invite you to ‘a day away’ on Wednesday, May 18, 2011.

We offer stress free travel via bus to the beautifully relaxing 19th Century Manor Galilee Retreat Centre on the banks of the Ottawa River in Arnprior. You will be offered an array of relaxing and energizing activities for your choosing.

This day is yours to spend as you wish.

We invite you to walk in the spring forest by the river or on the labyrinth. We will also offer energy-healing Reiki and Reflexology treatments or you may just prefer an uninterrupted sleep in one of the ten rooms reserved just for you. A detailed agenda will be provided.

A delicious lunch of soup, salad and sandwiches will be provided. All the food is prepared on the premises. If you have dietary requirements, please let us know so that we may accommodate you.
